Kanggye Ski Resort, located in Kanggye City, Chagang Province, North Korea, is a relatively new ski resort that was completed in under 10 months, thanks to the efforts of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. The resort features a T-bar lift and a range of ski courses, as well as a medical clinic and a sledding slope. It is the country's second ski resort, after Masikryong Pass, and was opened in January 2018. The resort is part of North Korea's efforts to develop its winter sports infrastructure and attract tourists.
