Awakino Ski Area is a club-operated skifield in the St Marys Range, near Kurow in the Waitaki Valley, New Zealand. It offers a friendly and affordable skiing experience with one and a half high-speed rope tows and stunning views over the valley. The ski area is situated between 1,450 and 1,880 meters in elevation and is a good spot for all skiers, including cross-country touring.
